She has been a celebrant for over 20 years and has extensive experience that enables her to create unique and individually designed ceremonies for any occasion.
For weddings, Mary specialises in ensuring that couples ultimately have the ceremony of their dreams, that reflects them and their love.
To get feedback after the wedding,"that was perfect, Mary. It was everything we hoped for!" deeply inspires Mary.
For funerals, kiwis are increasingly choosing funeral celebrants who can create a ceremony to celebrate the life of their loved one, share their grief and help them say farewell in their way. Mary finds that assisting families in this way is a real priviledge and was honoured to have learned her skills from Marian Barnes, the first civil funeral celebrant in NZ.
With her background in education and teaching (master of education, diploma in teaching, postgraduate diploma in celebrancy) Mary trains celebrants in NZ. She offers part time training in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
